Performance Opportunities:

First, you must register for performance.  If you have already done so, please read on.  If you have already been booked on one of the music stages, you may wish to also read this update on performance logistics.

The event runs from May 29 - July 5, 2009 and will be open from 5pm til 10pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11am to 1am Friday and Saturday, and Sundays 12noon to 10pm. Artomatic is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Local filmmakers!  Here's your chance at a big audience.  Have your film shown in Artomatic's movie theater.  For more information contact Mike McMullin at film@artomatic.org

Venues:

  • The Electric Stage is nightclub-sized venue for louder acts. Sound and lighting equipment will be provided. Performers are encouraged to complement our sound system with their own amplifiers, microphones and cables in order to best fit their sound reinforcement needs. The Electric Stage may be reached at music@artomatic.org.

  • The Cabaret Stage is for acts with less extensive load ins, such as acoustic groups. As in the Electric Stage, sound and lighting will be provided but please remember to bring anything required for your act. The Cabaret Stage will also host collaborative events between artists working in different disciplines, both performing and non-performing. The Cabaret Stage may be reached at cabaret@artomatic.org.

  • The Solo Stage is a coffee house setting for performances such as poetry readings or intimate solo/duo performances. The Solo Stage may be reached at cabaret@artomatic.org or music@artomatic.org.

  • The Dance Stage may be reached at dance@artomatic.org.

  • The Theatre Stage may be reached at theatre@artomatic.org.

Please note: No equipment can be brought into the building through the lobby. There is a loading lock in the rear of the building. All equipment must be brought through this entrance and then taken upstairs by the freight elevator.
